These a a few of the faces of the patients waiting to have cataract surgery.
One of my jobs while I was working with Eyes for Africa was to document everyone that was going to undertake cataract surgery.
This was done so the foundation could keep records on the numbers of patients they were seeing.
I saw this as a beautiful opportunity for patients to sit for a portrait for me. I found a spot next to the window, set up my tripod and a chair and every day would take portraits.
